The hotel has 40 rooms, located within two-storey blocks which are positioned in a U-shape around the grounds. All Suites are of the same size and have a similar interior of white wicker and soft hues, teamed with quirky accents. Their differences are in their views, which consist of Garden, Ocean View and Ocean Front.
The main building of the hotel, once the home of a plantation owner, is painted in a light, candyfloss pink and contains two further Suite rooms. Each room has been named after a Barbados street and comes with a spacious living area, en suite and an outside terrace/patio area. All rooms also come with a mini fridge and Wi-Fi but no television.
Cobblers Cove is found right on the beach along the west coast of Barbados. You’ll find paved pathways and stepping stones meandering through the hotels award-winning gardens, filled with lush green grass and tall, shady palms. Although public, the beach is quiet and from time to time you'll see the local fishermen heading back to shore after a long day. The sleepy town of Speightstown, offers a variety of restaurants and shops and is located within walking distance of the hotel.
The hotels beachfront restaurant, Camelot, is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves seasonal, island inspired dishes. The hotel fisherman brings freshly caught fish to the restaurant each day.
On Tuesday's you can enjoy a managers cocktail hour at the bar before heading to dinner for a BBQ night. Similarly, Fridays are ‘Island night’ with authentic Caribbean cuisine and calypso music. Complimentary afternoon tea is also provided daily around the pool from 4pm.
Although the hotel is more suited toward adults, children over the age of 12 years are welcome. All rooms interconnect (other than the Suites) and extra roll away beds can be arranged.
Cobblers Cove is one of our most-liked Caribbean hotels, combining local charm and 1940s elegance. The property boasts a quiet location, high-quality dining and warm home comforts.
