OUR OPINION:

This modern property's location, carefully designed decor and private cinema are all reasons that draw us to it, and we like the sociable atmosphere of its communal areas.

Rooms

Each individually designed by Kit Kemp, guest rooms boast bold patterns and modern features. High ceilings complemented by crown molding and wide windows let light flood into the room. Each room has a double bed, which can also be twinned. You can make use of the free Wi-Fi, and there's a flat screen TV, CD/DVD player and a writing desk. The en suit bathrooms are elegant in design with oak and granite features.

Situated in the ‘media neighborhood’, Charlotte Street Hotel is hidden away from the hustle and bustle while remaining easily accessible. Oxford Circus tube station is just around the corner from the property, connecting you to the rest of London. Within walking distance, you can venture to the nearby theater district, Regent’s Park, the British Museum and the Royal Opera House.

Food and drink

All-day dining is served at the Oscar Bar & Restaurant within the hotel. The seasonal menu changes throughout the year, ensuring fresh ingredients are used, but typically includes a wide range of options, including soups and salads, seafood and pasta. In addition, artfully crafted cocktails are available and often combined with oysters, tacos, or other nibbles depending on the day. The relaxed restaurant and bar contain tables that spill into the street, offering outdoor dining on sunny days.

Families

There are many interconnecting room options at the Charlotte Street Hotel to accommodate families and larger groups. Mini bathrobes, milk and cookies at bedtime, books and board games, and babysitting services make it a pleasant stay for guests of all ages.

Facilities and activities

The fully air-conditioned hotel contains a small but effective gym, extensive DVD library, and even a screening room to view movies.
