This 72-room hotel provides a full resort-style experience close to Šibenik’s historic downtown area, which can be easily accessed via water taxi from the hotel’s marina. A stylish modern property, it offers light, bright contemporary decor alongside luxurious facilities such as a hammam, infinity pool and fine-dining restaurant. Throughout the building contemporary art complements the modern architecture, from the local Croatian artwork in the high-ceilinged lobby to the twin murals that adorn the walls outside the aptly named Art Restaurant & Bar. The hotel’s curved concrete walls mimic the shape of the peninsula it sits upon, and each guest room has a private balcony offering panoramic marina and city views. Guests can enjoy their time at the hotel with a number of dining and leisure options or use the resort as a base for exploring the surrounding area.
The hotel’s 72 spacious rooms, suites and villas feature Egyptian cotton sheets, soundproof floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies, in addition to free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars. Natural materials, neutral hues and minimalist furnishings create a soothing atmosphere, in line with the hotel’s contemporary interior style. Deluxe suites offer a separate living area with wraparound balconies featuring sea and city views, while the Executive suite comprises two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area and dining room – perfect for families or two couples. Three separate two-bedroom villas provide additional privacy with private pools and gardens, and a superb location overlooking the marina.
Less than an hour’s drive from Split Airport, D-Resort enjoys an exclusive setting on the edge of the Mandalina peninsula which looks out over the city of Šibenik to the east and St Nicholas’ Fortress to the west. Water taxis run between the hotel and city throughout the day or by reservation at night, making it easy to explore this historic area at your leisure.
