The Sonesta Nouba Hotel Aswan is a characterful property designed in the bright, colourful, and traditional Nubian style. Although the hotel is fairly limited in facilities, it has a great location on the banks of the Nile, a 15-minute drive north of Aswan. Rooms are designed in a bungalow style with Nubian furnishings and styles throughout, and each room boasts a balcony with views across the river. Every room is equipped with a minibar, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. Sonesta Nouba Hotel has an indoor restaurant which serves international and local cuisine, as well as a small bar serving drinks and snacks which you can enjoy on a terrace overlooking the Nile. Other facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, in addition to a small gym and spa.

We recommend staying at the Sonesta Nouba Hotel in Aswan if you want a characterful property reminiscent of the local Nubian culture, and don’t mind staying outside of Aswan city itself. The staff here will make you feel at home, and can’t do enough to help.
