Set across a series of weathered stone buildings that cling to the hillside in the charming cobbled town of Èze, La Chèvre d’Or provides a medieval village experience with all the trappings of a five-star stay. The hotel is a member of the esteemed Relais & Chateaux hotel group and commands a superb location overlooking Cap Ferrat and the vast Mediterranean.
The 30 rooms are spread across original houses in the tiny village, each one unique in design and style. There are four restaurants to choose from offering fine dining in exquisite surroundings to more casual meals with superb views. The hotel also features a medieval bar, a pool overlooking the sea and a spa and small gym.
A French Riviera institution, La Chèvre d’Or in Èze is made up of individual stone houses and terraced gardens dotted around the town. We love feeling immersed in village life as well as the five star experience and unparalleled views of the Mediterranean.

With each room located in a different house, all are unique in decor and style with some offering the rustic charm of exposed stone walls and antique furniture, others classical elegance or contemporary simplicity. All are extremely comfortable with Wi-Fi, air conditioning and TVs with international channels standard features. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace overlooking the hill and the water beyond. In higher room categories, rooms may include private lounges, an infinity pool and Jacuzzi tubs, while all the hotel soaps and lotions are made by the nearby Fragonard perfumery.
The hotel takes up most of the town of Èze, just east of the largest city along the French Riviera, Nice. Sitting at the top of a hill, the rooms are spread out among the original medieval village houses. Heading down the hill into the heart of Èze, there are multiple cafés and boutiques to take advantage of, as well as the laboratory-factory for noted perfume brand Fragonard.
