The hotel has a bar and restaurant serving classic yet innovative Provençal cuisine, as well as a sushi menu prepared by a master chef. Rooms
The pared back, modern, minimalist design of the lavish rooms creates an environment of easy relaxation and seclusion. The rooms are extremely comfortable and highly tranquil with pale neutral decor and private terraces with seafront views. The hotel’s villas offer an extra sense of space and seclusion and have private pools and expansive gardens along with the services of a dedicated housekeeper to clean, provide turn-down service and prepare meals, including afternoon tea.
Location
Not far from the town of Saint-Tropez, the hotel sits on a hill in the town of Ramatuelle, with its pink tiled rooftops and stone walkways. Nearby the beaches of Tahiti and Pampelonne, which stretch along 23 km (14 miles) of sand and are dotted with restaurants, are accessible by car in about 10 minutes. The hotel offers a free shuttle that will take you to the beaches, into Ramatuelle and to Saint-Tropez. From here you can also use the public boats to sail to Nice or Cannes, avoiding the legendary traffic which can build up on the roads around Saint-Tropez itself, especially in summer months.
Food and drink
The hotel offers the option of in-room dining or having meals in its Michelin-starred restaurant and bar, which serves a creative menu of Provençal standards with a modern twist. The menu focuses on natural, local and healthy ingredients, such as local olive oil being used in place of butter. There is also a master sushi chef on staff for a new way to enjoy the variety of fish and shellfish available from the nearby Mediterranean.
Facilities and activities
The hotel is quite focused on holistic well-being offering a spa with further opportunity to unwind and refresh with a range of skin-care, anti-ageing and muscle treatments. There is also a state-of-the-art Technogym filled with high-tech equipment and offering exercise classes on both an individual or group basis. Guests can also make use of 30-minute personal training sessions. The hotel is surrounded by a large tract of woodland of cypress, pine and olive trees which is laced with walking trails that you can hike on your own or with a guide organised by the hotel reception.
