Itinerary idea in detail

With international flights from a choice of airports including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Belfast. After arriving in Belfast, you’ll pick up your rental car. This afternoon is all about Game of Thrones film sites, where you can follow in the footsteps of Jon Snow. At Winterfell Castle, you’ll try archery and axe throwing under the tuition of a private qualified instructor.

  • Take in the dramatic coastal scenery on a full day self-drive exploration of the Antrim Coast. You’ll visit the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, the basalt rock formations of the Giant's Causeway, and the Dark Hedges — a foreboding stretch of road flanked by ancient, winding beech trees, which features in Game of Thrones.

  • Make your way to Donegal, Ireland’s rugged northwest. You'll spend three nights taking in the raw beauty of this region.

  • The Slieve League cliffs tower three times the size of the better-known Cliffs of Moher, and you’ll hike along them with a private guide for the reward of incredible views.

  • Visit Donegal Castle and Sliabh Liag Distillery this morning before exploring Glenveagh National Park. Tour the castle, take in the impressive gardens, and spend time enjoying the walking trails.

  • Return to Belfast to drop off your rental car and catch your flight home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
