Itinerary idea in detail

With international flights from a choice of airports including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Dublin. After arriving in Dublin, you’ll pick up your rental car and make your way to Connemara, where you'll stay for three nights.

  • Sail by ferry to Inis Oírr, the second largest of the Aran Islands. You'll spend the day touring the island with a local guide, visiting a craft workshop, and breaking for a lobster lunch before returning to Connemara by ferry.

  • This morning, you’ll set out for a day of adventure in Connemara National park, with a boat trip through Killary Fjord and return hike along the Famine Trail. You round off the day watching a sheepdog demonstration.

  • Travel north to Sligo and check into your manor house hotel. Kayak on Lough Gill as you take the views of the water and surrounding green-clad hills.

  • Horse ride on the beach as you learn about the area’s connection to the Spanish Armada. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive at Finn Lough for an escapist stay with a difference sleeping in a bubble dome.

  • Spend the day at Finn Lough. You can choose to enjoy the lakeside spa trail, watch a movie in the cinema, walk one of the many trails, or sip a drink by the water’s edge.

  • Return to Dublin, where you’ll drop off your rental car and board your flight home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
