Make your own way to London St Pancras train station this morning, to board the Eurostar train to Paris. Your private driver will take you from the station to your hotel and after check in, you’ll have the afternoon to explore the city’s extensive Renaissance architecture on your own.
-
Your private driver will take you from your hotel to the station to catch your train to Milan. On arrival in Milan, you'll be met and transferred by private car to your hotel in the heart of the city. You'll then have the rest of the day to relax after your journey.
-
Meet your guide at the hotel for a three-hour walking tour of Milan, including Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper. In the afternoon, explore more of the city on your own. We recommend the Pinacoteca di Brera art gallery, or you could enjoy some of Milan's world-class shopping.
-
Your driver will pick you up at the hotel and bring you to the station where you’ll catch the train to Verona. On arrival, a driver will meet you to take you to your hotel. In the evening, take a shared bike tour of the city, enjoying plenty of stops to taste local cuisine along the way.
-
Take some time to further explore Verona as you wish. We recommend exploring both the medieval heart of the city and crossing the river to see the quieter side.
-
You’ll have a private driver for the short journey to Verona station to board your train to Venice, where you’ll catch a private boat to your hotel. As evening falls, in the company of a private guide, walk through a maze of alleyways on an evening food tour of Venice's hidden bacari (wine bars). Enjoy a glass of wine and some cicchetti, a traditional tapas-like snack, in true Venetian style.
-
You venture away from Venice today with your private guide to the outlying islands of Murano and Burano. In Murano, watch a glass-blowing demonstration and see artisans creating pieces of traditional Murano glassware. Burano is known for its tradition of lace making and brightly painted houses. Stroll the scenic lanes and canals while your guide explains the history of the island and return by private boat.
-
Late this morning, your shared water taxi will take you to Venice’s train station, where you’ll board the Belmond Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. On a leisurely journey through Europe, you’ll have time to admire the scenery and enjoy dining on board before spending the night in your cabin.
-
Today, your journey continues across Europe until you reach Calais. From here, cross the English Channel before joining the British Pullman train in Folkestone to travel through the English countryside to London.
