Rooms

The tents at Canvas Club offer a luxurious desert experience. Each tent is richly decorated with ornate rugs, cushions and lanterns, providing a cosy yet elegant atmosphere. The tents feature comfortable, double and twin beds and are complemented by en suite bathroom tents equipped with hot showers and chemical toilets. Please note that there is no electricity here and no Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy the stunning desert landscape from their tents, which are designed to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

Location

Canvas Club glamping site is located deep within the stunning Wahiba Sands desert, approximately 40 km (25 miles) from the nearest road. This remote location is characterised by its vast, undulating dunes — some reaching heights of up to 100 metres. The site is about a four-hour drive from Muscat. Nestled among the golden sands, the glamping site offers a unique blend of luxury and nature, providing an unparalleled experience of the desert’s tranquillity.

Food and drink

  • A delicious, traditional breakfast will be prepared for you by the camp’s chef and served in the main dining tent.
  • A candlelit dinner around the campfire can be arranged in advance and will likely feature a traditional meal such as Omani shuwa — slow roasted lamb cooked in a special underground fire pit.
