In general, accommodation options in Oman are limited. However, the capital, Muscat, offers a good choice, including some of the most luxurious properties in the region. Outside the capital most towns have just one or two choices, but as Oman becomes more popular, new hotels are opening up. There's also the option to stay in a desert camp in Wahiba Sands, where you can experience traditional Bedouin hospitality in the midst of the desert dunes.
