  • Return to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado. From Puerto Maldonado, you will board a motorised canoe and head into the Amazon to your lodge to begin your adventure. In the evening, you will enjoy your first venture into the Amazon for an evening activity.

  • This morning, you will board the train for Machu Picchu. The journey traces the edge of the white-water Urubamba River as it twists through the increasingly steep-sided jungle valley. You’ll spot a series of Incan sites from your seat before arriving at Aguas Calientes. After disembarking from the train, you will take a short bus journey up to Machu Picchu for your privately guided tour of the Inca ruins.

  • Today you may return to Machu Picchu for a morning of independent exploration before catching an afternoon train back to Cuzco.
