  • This morning, you will return to the airport for your flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival in Cuzco, you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel via private transfer. The rest of the day and evening will be yours to enjoy at your leisure as you acclimatise to the high altitude.

  • Start today by taking the one-and-a-half-hour train journey to Machu Picchu with your guide. The journey traces the edge of the Urubamba River as it twists through the increasingly steep-sided valley. You’ll spot a series of Incan sites from your seat before arriving at Aguas Calientes. After disembarking from the train, you will take a short bus journey to Machu Picchu for your privately guided tour of the Inca citadel.
