Praia Verde Boutique Hotel
Tucked back from the beach and nestled in a grove of pine trees, the Praia Verde Boutique Hotel occupies a secluded position in the eastern Algarve. The modern hotel has been immaculately styled with panoramic windows, natural elements and bright, airy common spaces. Moving through the open-plan lobby, you reach the À Terra restaurant, whose open-sided kitchen allows you to see the chefs at work. The menu focuses on rustic, traditional recipes based around high- quality fresh ingredients as well as offering wood-fired pizzas. Stepping outside, the swimming pool is surrounded by a deck that enjoys natural shade from the surrounding pine trees. The hotel’s 40 rooms and suites, all of which offer Wi-Fi and air-conditioning and many of which feature balconies, are decorated with a fresh, natural palette.
A ten-minute walk down through the pine trees brings you to the wide sandy beach (or praia) from which the hotel takes its name.

Location
Surrounded by thick swathes of pine trees, the hotel enjoys quiet and peaceful seclusion in Portugal’s coastal Algarve region. Just down the road is the sandy Praia Verde beach from which the hotel takes its name. It’s an excellent place to take a swim or sunbathe.
Food and Drink
The hotel’s À Terra restaurant focuses on making simple, rustic yet delicious food, prepared with care and passion from locally sourced ingredients. The cuisine isn’t traditionally Portuguese and displays an Italian flair, with menu choices such as pizza and bruschetta, prepared in the restaurant’s wood oven.
Our opinion
A hidden retreat in a quieter section of the Algarve, we love the chic interior design and excellent food on offer at the À Terra restaurant.
