The InterContinental O.R.Tambo is a comfortable hotel with a contemporary style, located just a few metres from Johannesburg’s largest airport. Despite its proximity to the airport, soundproofing ensures peace and quiet, with the spacious, well-appointed rooms and suites making for a pleasant overnight stay for those arriving or departing this culture-rich city.
While boasting a modern décor, the hotel reflects its traditional African heritage in the local artwork and tribal masks that adorn its walls, as well as in the local cuisine served in its on site restaurant, Quill.
Staff are friendly and will be happy to point you in the direction of Johannesburg’s best attractions.
We think this is a very comfortable, convenient and surprisingly peaceful place to overnight at Johannesburg, especially if you have an early connection the following morning, with the international and domestic arrivals and departures just metres away.
