H10 Casa Mimosa

H10 Casa Mimosa

Barcelona, Spain

Just around the corner from Gaudí’s Casa Milà in the heart of Barcelona’s Eixample district, H10 Casa Mimosa is a bright and stylish hotel housed in a protected 19th-century building.

An open-plan lobby and restaurant opens out to a large, plant-filled central courtyard with a small, shady plunge pool and comfy seating. There’s also another small plunge pool on the hotel’s roof terrace, with views of Casa Milà’s sculptural chimneys. Across the courtyard is a small gym annex and solarium terrace.

Inside the main building, the 48 guest rooms are fresh and modern with clean lines and black-and-white decor. Thoughtful touches include bathrobes and slippers and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Rooms either overlook Barcelona’s central streets or face the hotel’s leafy central courtyard.

OUR OPINION:

A chic boutique hotel in Barcelona’s vibrant Eixample district, H10 Casa Mimosa is centrally located for exploring the city. We love the variety of public areas and leafy outdoor spaces with views of Gaudí’s Casa Milà.

Rooms

The decor in the rooms is fresh and modern with clean lines, bright white linens, and plenty of natural light streaming in through the large windows. All rooms have facilities for making tea and coffee, a TV, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The fresh and modern en suite bathrooms come equipped with bathrobes and slippers. Mimosa suites have separate living areas, while the enormous Suite Condal showcases an original coffered ceiling. A few rooms also have terraces overlooking the hotel gardens and Casa Milà.

Location

The hotel is centrally located in the Eixample district, close to Modernist architecture and steps from the Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high-end shopping. Two of Gaudí’s best-known buildings are nearby — Casa Milà is around the corner and Casa Batlló is a ten-minute stroll away. You can walk to the architect’s magnificent basilica, the Sagrada Família, in less than 20 minutes.

Food and drink

The hotel’s main restaurant, El Til·ler, serves a buffet breakfast with hot dishes made to order, and is open for lunch in the afternoon. The lobby bar serves light tapas and drinks, which you can eat in the central courtyard garden. You can also enjoy a cocktail to the backdrop of panoramic city views from the rooftop terrace bar.

Facilities and activities

You can take a dip in the small plunge pool in the central courtyard or the second plunge pool on the roof. A fitness area and solarium are housed in the annex across the courtyard.
