Kurland is famous for helping to bring polo to South Africa, and attracts international polo teams from around the world during the short season.

The hotel has been developed alongside the polo training facilities and is furnished in country estate style, with antique dark wooden furniture and plush sofas. The hotel welcomes families and many of the rooms have additional children’s beds in a loft area.
