  • During your stay in Bangkok you will have a private guide for the first morning, who will show you around the highlights of the city such as Wat Po and the Grand Palace, using a selection of public transport options. This is both a great introduction to the city and the country, and a chance to ask questions, as well as a good way to get to know the best ways to travel around the city. This evening, your guide will take you to meet a local food specialist guide, who will whisk you away by iconic three-wheeled tuk-tuk to the best eateries in town. In between delicacies such as Guay tiew kua gai and Isaan cuisine, you will have the chance to visit beautiful flower markets and historic temples.

  • Your guide will collect you after breakfast today for your transfer an hour South of Bangkok into the surrounding countryside. Your first stop will be at one of Thailand's most unique markets, a train market. Here, stalls are expertly removed from the tracks as trains approach and swiftly reassembled after their passing. After the train market, paddle gently through Ladplee flower market before stopping at a restaurant for a tasty local lunch. If you are visiting over a weekend, your guide will also be able to include a visit to Tha Kha floating market.
