Palacio Azul, Cienfuegos, Cuba
Palacio Azul was built in 1921 by an architect Alfredo Fontana and used to be the private residence of one of the regions wealthy tobacco barons.
The powder blue palace has been restored into a charming colonial hotel and enjoys a great location next door to the Cienfuegos Yacht Club and just a short walk from the main square Parque Marti.
The seven simple rooms are light, airy, perfectly comfortable and all have ensuite bathrooms.
