Rose Garden Palace
The Rose Garden Palace is conveniently located within a ten minute walk from the Spanish Steps, and is known for its friendly staff and good sized rooms. It’s also one of the few hotels in Rome with a relaxation pool as well as a spa and gym. The rooms have a simple yet modern design, using lots of white and blue tones that enhance the light, refreshing atmosphere. There’s also a great outdoor seating area which is perfect on hot days for an al fresco breakfast or a relaxing evening drink.
Rooms are a good size with a classic and modern design, using parquet flooring, designer lamps and lots of blue and white tones to keep the space fresh yet welcoming. Adjoining rooms are available on request, and there is also the option to add a third person on a sofa bed. Each room has a TV, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. Views are either onto the inner courtyard or facing Palazzo Margherita. Balconies are also available on request. All bathrooms are decorated in white marble and are an equally good size with showers in the baths.
Built in the stylish Via Veneto area, once the main high fashion shopping district and now home to the US embassy among other luxurious hotels, the Rose Garden Palace is well located for exploring on foot. It’s a short stroll from the Villa Borghese park and the Borghese Gallery. The Spanish Steps are a 10 minute walk away and the Trevi Fountain, a further 20 minutes.
Food and Drink
The Rosetto Restaurant offers an American buffet breakfast every morning and also caters for lunch, dinner and evening drinks and appetizers in the outdoor seating area. This courtyard area is a lovely option on warmer days when you wish to have your breakfast outside as well. There are lots of restaurants approximately a 25 minute walk away, southward towards the Pantheon.
Facilities and Activities
In addition to being one of the few hotels in Rome offering a relaxation pool, the Rose Garden also has a spa, sauna and gym open to all guests.
The Rose Garden Palace is a great option for those searching for convenience, comfort and value for money. The Via Veneto area is a little lacking in terms of restaurants, but so long as you don’t mind a short walk, then this is an excellent choice.
