This memorable tour brings you close to the Māori community in Kaikoura in a way that is not possible elsewhere in New Zealand. You will be picked up after lunch and receive a warm welcome when you are invited to spend the day with the family who introduce you to Māori culture, which dates back over 800 years.
You will have the chance to try your hand at weaving and other traditional customs as well as listen to ancient spiritual stories through the voices of the ancestors. The tour concludes around 5pm when you will be transferred back to your accommodation.
