Mjejane River Lodge, Southern & Central Sectors Kruger National Park, South Africa
Mjejane River Lodge, as its name suggests overlooks the Crocodile River and was once a farm that has now been converted to a wonderful guest house on the edge of the Kruger National Park. There are only 10 rooms so there is an intimate feeling to the property and all the rooms are very stylishly decorated with air conditioning and overhead fans.
Mjejane is 4,000 hectares in total and incorporated into the Kruger National Park although at the moment there is no direct access to to the park. The Malalane gate is only 20 kilometres away however and animals can cross over the river and wander on the land easily (the actual lodge is fenced to keep the animals out). There is a pool which over looks the river and a host of activities which you can book whilst you are there. One game drive in included in the rate.
