Na Nirand creates a homely ambience with Thai-style residential buildings that frame a central outdoor pool area, interspersed by mature trees to create a relaxing ambience. Every element of the hotel is in keeping of its northern heritage, with traditional teak woods and lanna style materials used throughout the property.
The Na Nirand is one of our preferred properties in Chiang Mai, for its location, charming ambience and warm personal staff, making it a great choice for couples or families looking to explore the sites of the city and within easy walking distance to the Night Bazaar.

Rooms
Find only 45 rooms and suites spread across six two-storey, Thai-style residential buildings, constructed in half-timbered Lanna-colonial style evocative of the late 19th century. The decor is simple but elegant, with traditional crafts used extensively across the buildings from the ornamental woodwork to the stucco elephants on the arches, woven fabrics and handmade furniture. The rooms are complete with large bathroom spaces and the riverfront suites are designed with colonial influences that nod toward the past British, Chinese and Myanmar trading history through Chiang Mai.
Location
Nestled along the Ping River, Na Nirand is in a convenient location to a variety of restaurants, bars and markets, with the old town only a short tuk-tuk ride away.
Food and drink
The Time Riverfront Restaurant provides a peaceful setting from morning to evening, with a combined menu of international and Thai-lanna style cuisine. While the informal rooftop-bar is a great place to enjoy an afternoon tea, or an evening drink as the sun sets.
Facilities and activities
In addition to the outdoor pool, you can learn about local culture and history in the small library in the Huan Kammung teak house which stands on stilts and is surrounded by open decking, or enjoy a massage or treatment in the small Lanna-style spa.
