  • Today you will tour the main sights of the city using various methods of local transport. Later this evening it's time to relax onboard a luxurious dinner cruise.

  • After breakfast you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport in time for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon reaching Chiang Mai you will be met by a local guide and taken to Doi Suthep temple for sunset. This evening you check into your boutique city hotel.

  • Spend the day exploring Sukhothai Historical Park with an experienced local guide.

  • After breakfast you will travel to the Myanmar border town of Mae Sot where you will be spending the night. This evening you may wish to visit the local night market.

  • Cross into Myanmar today and travel south to Moulmein. When in power, Moulmein was the original British capital and provided inspiration for Orwell and Kipling. Today the town still retains many of its colonial buildings and makes a pleasant base for touring the surrounding area. Spend the night in a simple yet comfortable riverside hotel.

  • Spend the full day exploring Moulmein and its surrounds, including Bilu Island.

  • Today you will take a private boat transfer to the scenic Hpa-An where you will be based for the next few days. After checking into your beautiful lodge you will have an opportunity to visit a nearby pagoda.

  • Explore Hpa-An and its surrounds, including Sadden Cave, Mount Hpan Pu and local villages.

  • Full day at leisure to relax or explore.

  • Travel overland from Hpa-An to Bago via the Moyingyi Wetlands for a chance to spot some of the country's birdlife. Spend the night in Bago.

  • Continue from Bago to Myanmar's capital, Yangon. Late this afternoon you will visit the resplendent Shwedagon Pagoda followed by drinks on 19th Street.

  • Enjoy a morning walking tour of the city's colonial district followed by an afternoon at leisure.

  • Bid farewell to Myanmar and transfer to the airport in time for your flight home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
