Rooms

Rooms are all unique in size and layout and each category has its own style of decor. Superior rooms are quite compact but still offer a full range of facilities, however the larger size of the deluxe rooms mean an extra bed can be incorporated if necessary.

There are also a number of spacious suites, which are individual in style with sumptuous decor. Luxurious touches include four-poster beds and antique-style furniture as well as additional facilities including a separate bath and shower. All rooms have wide screen TVs, iPod docking stations, complimentary Wi-Fi and Nespresso coffee machines.

Location

The hotel has an excellent position with many of the city’s main museums, including the Natural History Museum and V&A just a five-minute walk away. The green expanse of Hyde Park and boutique shopping options of Kensington High Street and Knightsbridge are all close by and within an easy walk or a short taxi ride of the hotel.

Food and drink

The Town House restaurant comprises three interconnecting rooms and has a stylish, retro decor with splashes of green and yellow. It is open to guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves a menu with a focus on seasonal English cuisine. The K Bar has a more historic atmosphere with wood paneling, a coffered ceiling and rich velvet seating.

Families

Tepee beds can be set up in deluxe rooms for children. Inside the tepee is a single inflatable mattress and bedding, indoor camping lamp and a hotel teddy bear. The evening turn down service includes milk and cookies for campers.
