Titanic Hotel

Liverpool, The UK

The enormous Titanic Hotel is located in a 19th-century rum and tobacco warehouse and the historic building’s exposed brick walls and vaulted ceilings ooze character. The sophisticated, industrial-chic decor throughout the property alludes to the Titanic. Design elements in the large lobby and lounge include a model of the Titanic and signage promoting Liverpool’s White Star Line, proprietors of the ship.

These characterful design elements and ship motifs continue through to the sleek Rum Bar and Stanley’s Bar & Grill, both of which offer outdoor seating overlooking the canal. The ship references continue upstairs to the large guest rooms. All rooms feature minimalist, white bedding accented by splashes of yellow. Modern hotel amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and a well-equipped wellness spa with a hydrotherapy pool, steam room, sauna and several treatment rooms.

The hotel is situated in the docklands, slightly out of the city center. It takes just under ten minutes by car to reach the central areas of Albert Dock and William Brown Street.

We love the Titanic Hotel’s blend of contemporary design and rustic former warehouse elements. We recommend this hotel for those that do not want to be in the hustle and bustle of downtown Liverpool.

The Titanic Hotel’s guest rooms are extremely spacious and characterful. The understated decor features exposed brick and vaulted ceilings complimented by crisp, white linens. Rooms are adorned with touches of yellow and ship motifs are scattered throughout. All guest rooms are equipped with original windows that flood the room with natural light and many offer views of the port. The expansive en suite bathrooms contain a walk-in shower and some also feature a roll-top bath. Modern amenities include a flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Set in an old rum and tobacco warehouse, this cavernous property is part of the historic Stanley Dock complex located alongside the River Mersey. The Stanley Docks are situated approximately five to ten minutes’ drive from Liverpool’s downtown area. Since the hotel is positioned on the outskirts of the city there aren’t any restaurants within walking distance.

Food and drink

Stanley’s Bar & Grill has an industrial-chic ambience due to its high ceilings, brick walls and exposed pipes. The menu offers a modern take on British classics and diners can eat indoors or outside for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Light dining options are also available at the hotel’s stylish Rum Bar, which serves over 60 varieties of rum.

The exclusive Maya Blue Wellness spa is located on the lower ground floor and does not permit anyone under the age of 18. Access to the thermal suite equipped with a hydrotherapy pool, steam room and sauna is by appointment only. The spa also offers a range of treatment options.
