Andaz Maui at Wailea
The Andaz Maui at Wailea is a sophisticated 60,700 square metre resort in a delightful beachfront location; with crescent shaped beaches and the glistening ocean at its doorstep.
The Fairmont Kea Lani sits on a prized part of Maui’s west coast, tucked away in the charming and luxurious Wailea Estate. This expansive property covering 22 acres is Maui’s only all suite resorts with a relaxed Mediterranean décor.
There are lots of options to choose from for your stay. As all of the rooms are suites of varying sizes, this makes the Kea Lani great value for money. Ranging from garden view to Deluxe Ocean Front view suites, each suite has a relaxed, authentic Hawaiian ambiance. There are also boutique villas situated closer to the beach for families wishing to have a more exclusive stay. All rooms feature a private bathroom, smart TV in both the bedroom and living room area, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a private Lanai or balcony and a kitchenette.
The Fairmont Kea Lani has a private entrance on the Wailea Estate and sits on the beautiful white sandy Polo Beach, a quieter neighbour to Wailea Beach, which is home to the larger resorts of the Four Seasons and the Grand Wailea.
There are several different options for dining at this property. Ko is the signature restaurant and the only place on Maui to offer plantation inspired cuisine. Nick's Fishmarket is one of Maui's premier seafood restaurants, providing guests with fresh fish and a 2000 bottle wine cellar. The Kea Lani Restaurant is an open-air dining area offering a daily bountiful breakfast buffet and an exceptional à la carte menu service. Caffe Ciao Bakery & Deli is an Italian-style bakery, gift shop and deli, which is ideal for those who wish to build their own picnic for a day of island exploring. Ama Bar & Grill is a casual poolside restaurant, boasting ocean views and a swim-up bar.
A queen size sofa bed in the living room area makes this a great choice for families. There is also Keiki (children’s) club for 5-12 year olds.
The resort boasts an impressive range of facilities, including the Willow Stream Spa, an extensive swimming pool area and the open-air Luana Lounge, which offers spectacular views of the beautiful Maui sunset. Guests are treated to nightly entertainment from local musicians in the private cabana-esque canopy couches. There is also a fitness centre and laundry services are available.
A great choice in Maui, offering value for money in the most luxurious part of the island. Located on the quieter Polo Beach, the Kea Lani, while large, offers a quiet oasis away from the crowds of Maui's west coast. A good choice for families in the summer time (June- September) and in the low season (October – May) it is a great option for honeymooners.
