In the morning, a 30-minute drive takes you over the hills surrounding Cuzco and then drops into the fertile Sacred Valley of the Incas.
In the small colonial village of Písac, spend the morning exploring the colourful Indian market, with its wide variety of textiles and ceramics.
If you want, there will also be time to explore the Inca ruins on a hilltop location overlooking the village. Once finished in Písac, return to Cuzco in time for lunch.
