Tucked in the north of the Okavango Delta’s Mapula and Sekwana concession is Kadizora Camp, an intimate and unpretentious camp with panoramic views of seasonal floodplains.
The camp is classic in style with plenty of open spaces, embracing and blending naturally with its surroundings, under a canopy of jackalberry, marula, and sycamore trees.
A variety of safari activities are available from Kadizora, including open-vehicle safaris, mokoros, boating, and fishing.
In a game-rich area of the northern Okavango Delta, the private concession location of Kadizora Camp means your guide can take you off-road, on foot, or out after dark with very few other vehicles around. There are standard and luxury tents, but all offer the authentic safari experience hosted by a genuinely warm staff.

Rooms
There’s a choice between standard and luxury tents, both of which offer comfortable places to stay, although the luxury tents are much more spacious. Regardless of which tent you’re spending your safari in, you can be assured that each provides a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy a siesta in between your safari activities.
Location
Situated between the Vumbura River and Selinda Spillway, the concession is surprisingly dry and well-placed between some of the Delta’s most renowned concessions where wildlife thrives during the rain-free winter months, as the flood makes its way down from the Angolan highlands and water levels are at their highest.
Food and drink
Meals are enjoyed communally on the deck overlooking the floodplain. Mealtimes depend on when you return from your activities and are served buffet-style. The deck also features a plunge pool and a sandy firepit, ideal spots for snacks and drinks.
Facilities and activities
The camp is classic in style with plenty of open spaces, embracing and blending naturally with its surroundings, under a canopy of jackalberry, marula, and sycamore trees. If you’re looking for a spot to cool down from the heat of the day, you can grab a drink and head along the decked walkway to the pool for a refreshing dip. After a busy day of activities, the bar and boma are a welcoming place to share your safari stories and sightings.
Kadizora has the benefit of being in a concession with permanent water channels, so activities are available year-round. This includes wildlife drives, night drives, and mokoro (dugout canoe) experiences. For an additional cost, you can arrange a privately guided scenic helicopter flight over the delta, with the doors removed to maximise game-viewing and photographic opportunities.
