Old Montréal walking tour

This insightful tour is a great way to explore everything that Old Montréal has to offer in just one morning. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you around the area’s best-known buildings and monuments, including the Notre-Dame Basilica and the World Trade Centre. With small groups, this intimate walk is a good introduction to Montréal, and the local guides can recommend places to eat and drink after the tour.

Meander leisurely down the cobbled streets, passing old French and British architecture as you learn about the history of the Saint Lawrence River Port and Old Montréal. You’ll cover the main parts of Old Montréal as well as to the areas that your guide is most passionate about. Even though this is a three-hour tour, plenty of it takes place inside, so you don’t need to worry about being too cold. If it is a really cold day, your guide will be sensitive of this and will make sure that you get enough time to warm up inside before moving on to the next place. Pavements (or sidewalks as they’re called in Canada) in Montréal can become quite icy throughout the winter, so your guide will make sure that you the group doesn’t walk in any dangerous patches.
