Located on the east bank of the Nile close to downtown Cairo, the Kempinski Nile hotel is one of the smaller luxury hotels in the city, and boasts a central location. There is a good range of facilities including three restaurants and two bars, a rooftop swimming pool with views overlooking Cairo and the Nile, and a fantastic wellness centre and spa. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the attention to detail is impressive. Rooms and suites are spacious which is great if you are looking for additional space, or trying to accommodate the whole family. Some of the rooms also have views across the Nile and Cairo skyline. Service here is friendly, welcoming and attentive and there is a high ratio of staff to guests.
We feel that The Kempinski Hotel is a fantastic base to explore Cairo, and offers a good range of facilities and dining options. Although the property’s décor needs an update, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

This includes air-conditioning, coffee and tea making facilities, free Wi-Fi, and 24/7 butler service. The interiors could use an update, although rooms benefit from being bright and expansive. Rooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows which look out across the city or Nile. Suites have a separate bedroom and living area and are roughly double the size of the rooms. Suites are a great option for families, although interconnected rooms are also available.
