Audley Travel Tailor-made journeys for the discerning traveller

Mark, Canada & Alaska Specialist

After completing his degree, Mark moved to London, working in outdoor retail and doing as much travel as possible. It was after leaving this to work as a shop manager on board Regent Seven Seas Voyager, cruising the world, that the real passion was awakened.

After two years on board, including doing a full season working Alaska, he decided to regain his land legs and started working in travel. After four years creating trips to locations all over the world, he decided he wanted to specialise in an area that he really loved.

Canada has always been a place that he has had a passion for, with its amazing wildlife and natural beauty, so it was an obvious choice to come to Audley as a Canadian specialist. On his most recent trip he visited Banff and Vancouver to experience Christmas in the snow.

Mark's Most Memorable Experience

I was fortunate enough to be able to work the whole season in Alaska on board the Regent Navigator, enjoying the passing scenery quietly slipping by. My most memorable experience was during a whale watching excursion in Juneau, where we got to see 15 humpback whales bubble feeding. The once still waters came alive with the whales both feeding and breaching.
